Marie brings over fifteen years of domestic and international public relations, marketing, sales, and business development experience. As the founder and principal consultant at MG3Media, Marie specializes in strategy, and is highly proficient at building connections between individuals, project teams and businesses with a shared vision. Her passion for innovation in technology, education, healing and the arts was first fueled by her father, a retired engineer, musician and Zen artist, and by her late mother, who was a dedicated teacher, community builder and avid promoter of alternative education. An eclectic early career immersion in some of Silicon Valley’s leading ventures have included work with Novell, Apple, Regis McKenna, Silicon Graphics, Netscape, SparkPR, Angel Investors, L.P. and others who provided the “rapid live-it and learn-it” environment to encourage her more entrepreneurial endeavors.

Brittany D. Chavez, Education Blogger
Brittany Chavez (born Brittany Coleman) is the MG3Media Insights Education Blogger. She is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Jose State University, teaching one section of Beginning Acting while completing her Masters degree in Theatre Arts (with an emphasis in Performance Studies). She is currently working on her thesis, titled “Performing Birth Across the Border: Feminine Landscapes of Madres Mexicanas,” which is a critical ethnographic study of women who have immigrated undocumented to the Bay Area, California, while they were pregnant or nursing, seen through the lens of performance theory.

Jimmy entered into the photography world in 2008 by shooting community events and street festivals in Oakland, and now he shoots anything that captures his soul: (Local Art, Food, Events, People, Fashion, & Fun) . His passion for life and commitment to revitalizing his community is conveyed thru his pictures. His unique perspective and point of view can be seen on the Oakland fan page which he started as a vehicle to show his work and he now has over 5,000 fans.
About Jimmy
Jimmy was born in Hong Kong in 1971. His parents came to the Bay Area when he was 8 months old and he has lived here ever since. He majored in Business Administration and minored in both Advertising and Marketing at Cal State East Bay. In College he started investing in the stock market, trading commodities and real estate. In 2006, he started his business Reef Designs an Aquarium & Furniture, where he spends his days designing, building, installing and maintaining custom aquariums throughout the local SF Bay Area. His passion for fish and experience building worlds for them has influenced his perspective as a photographer.
In 2010, Jimmy’s photos won 2nd in the Best Oakland video contest held by the Oakland Convention and Visitors Bureau.
